By that logic does that mean I can’t tell people to get over a paper cut? Huge fallacy here cause people can’t over exaggerate cancer, but how often do you hear people say they’re “depressed”? Majority of people get bummed out when things don’t go exactly their way and and go around telling everybody they’re depressed. Maybe some were sheltered their whole lives, but you need to go through some gruesome shit to be legit depressed. TLDR: People have different thresholds emotionally, but if you have cancer you have it.. no two ways about it. I have seen people with a legit reason to be depressed, but they don’t mope. With a strong mind you can always get past it. However you can’t just magically chemo therapize (not a word lol) and make cancer go away,
